Silver Clay jewellery making class – 4 hours   1 – 3 people per class

Everything you need to make one piece of silver clay jewellery and practice with real clay, will be provided – as will all tools required for use in the lesson. If you need more silver clay on the day than the allocated amount, I can provide this at cost price.

Brief description of silver clay & the various brands and types
Tools & methods
Choosing a design
Practice with real clay (silver clay dries out really quickly so good to get an understanding of working with clay in small amounts before using the real stuff)
Using silver clay findings or sterling findings
Imprinting
Sanding your unfired piece
Firing – torch and kiln
Polishing
Constructing your piece
